Ever since Inazuma’s release inGenshin Impact, the game’s roster has been flooded by alarge number of characters. Of these, few have brought the energy that Yoimiya has. The current owner of Naganohara Fireworks, the Pyro bow-user has easily taken the hearts ofGenshin Impactfans everywhere.

That said, Yoimiya makes for a farmore complex characterthan most players assume from her energetic personality. From gameplay to narrative effects, the community continues to learn more about the complexities of the five-star archer. Naturally, players all around the community have missed a few facts and features about Yoimiya.
10Yoimiya According To The Website
“A talented pyrotechnician. The current owner of Naganohara Fireworks known as the “Queen of the Summer Festival.” A filled with fiery passion. The uncompromising childish innocence and the obsession with craftmanship intertwine in her to create a spectacular blaze.”
Yoimiya is, so far, the most innocent and passionate person that the player meets in Inazuma. She lives in the Hinamizaka part of Inazuma City, running a fireworks shop called Naganohara Fireworks.
Yoimiya lives for her craft, all of her time consumed by pyrotechnics and assisting her clients. Of course, she also helps in aiding the resistance against the Raiden Shogun; it is well known that she uses her shop to hide vision holders on the run and in networking the creation of fake ones from Master Masakatsu.
9Yoimiya According To The Game
“Owner of Naganohara Fireworks. Known as “Queen of the Summer Festival,” she excels in her craft of creating fireworks that symbolize people’s hopes and dreams.”
Yoimiya’s description in-game doesn’t vary very much from her website one. Once again, players are told about her ownership of Naganohara Fireworks and her craftmanship.

That said, the in-game description does tell audiences about one crucial detail: her underlying role in the story. Yoimiya is obsessive and passionate, and she does this for the sake of other people’s hopes and dreams. It’s for this reason that she is willing to go so far in resisting the Electro Archon’s rule.
8Yoimiya Has Innovative Talents
Among bow-users, Yoimiya may very well have the most different playstyle inGenshin Impact(to thepoint of controversy). To be more specific, Yoimiya’s elemental skill infuses her normal attackswith Pyro energy.
In addition, she also has an elemental burst which marks one opponent for increased damage, making for a very precise fighter. To top it all off, Yoimiya’s charged shot also homes in on opponents and animals, making her an excellent choice for players that struggle with aiming.
7Yoimiya Wants Naku Weeds And Pearls
There are a lot of local specialties inGenshin Impact, some of which can bevery difficult to find. Yet, of Inazuma, Yoimiya’s ascensions will require some fairly tricky ingredients.
Specifically, Yoimiya will need Naku Weed and Smoldering Pearls to ascend. Granted, Naku Weed isn’t hard to find; it can be found in nearly every Balethunder area. However, because these areas have Balethunder, collecting the plant can be a little bit difficult. On the other hand, the Smoldering Pearls can be collected bydefeating the Pyro Hypostasis.
6Yoimiya Uses Carassius Auratus
Constellations slowly change gameplay as players pull characters over time. As such, constellations can heavily define a character’s role and power over the course of the game’s journey; Yoimiya’s constellation is Carassius Auratus.

For Yoimiya’s constellations, players can expect a lot of them to enhance the active power of Yoimiya’s elemental skill and burst (rather than offering something more towards the utility side). Most notably, her second constellation boosts Pyro damage after a Pyro critical hit, and her third and fifth increase her elemental skill and burst by three levels respectively.
5Yoimiya Likes Dango
Each character has their own food preferences and special dishes. For Yoimiya, she prefers a traditional Japanese snack and delicious festival food: the Dango. Well, to be more accurate, Yoimiya prefersallsnack foods over entrees. However, her special dish is a version of the Dango:Summer Festival FishDango.
On the other hand, Yoimiya cannot seem to handle milk. In fact, based on the exact phrasing of her voice lines, Yoimiya may be one of the few characters inGenshin Impactto be lactose intolerant. However, this has not been confirmed de jure.
4Yoimiya Has An Interesting Family Life
InGenshin Impact, Yoimiya is one of the only characters to have a parental figure in-game. Granted, she is not the first: both Diona and Xiangling have fathers that can be talked to in the game (Draff and Chef Mao respectively). However, Yoimiya would be the firstfive-star character to have an in-game parental figure.
And at that, her family life seems to be very interesting based on their interactions. For one, her father, Naganohara Ryuunosuke, used to run the business before her until his hearing turned for the worst (source of quite a bit of humor from her story quest). Yet, her family has been serious about their craft for generations, each revolutionizing fireworks regardless of their demeanor. It’s only this generational love that would allow Yoimiya to take up the shop at such a young age.
3Yoimiya’s Fireworks Are Loved Worldwide And At Home
As the only fireworks maker in all of Inazuma (currently), Yoimiya has a lot of business. At home, she is constantly moving and making fireworks non-stop, fueled by her endless passion for the craft. Of course, it does help to have a family legacy going back generations; so long as the person buying the fireworks has their receipt, they can get the same firework again.

Players may be aware of the popularity of the business based on the Naganohara Firework Show shown in Yoimiya’s story quest. However, fewer know that the Naganohara are well-known outside of Inazuma. For example, Beidou’s fleet has designated the family as their primary firework provider, even transporting the products to the rest of Teyvat in the family’s stead. And it doesn’t end there, as Yoimiya has even earned the respect ofthe Raiden Shogunherself as Inazuma’s best pyrotechnician.
2Yoimiya Is Voiced By Jenny Yokobori
A good voice-actor makes a character, and Yoimiya is voice byJenny Yokoboriin English. Jenny Yokobori may be the most diverse voice actor inGenshin Impact, acting in over 40 works in the television, video game, and anime genres.
Some of Yokobori’s most well-known works includeThe Simpsons, TONIKAWA: Over the Moon for You, The Irregular at Magic High School, andFire Emblem Heroes.
1Yoimiya’s Birthday Is June 21st
Yoimiya was born onJune 21st,which makes her aCancer. This fits Yoimiya very well, as Cancers tend to be creative yet adventurous individuals. This represents people fueled by their emotions rather than their thoughts, which describes the spontaneous pyrotechnician perfectly.
That said, this date, in particular, is on the cusp with Gemini, showing itself as a person that is also very receptive to the feelings of others; once again, much like Yoimiya. People born on June 21st include Lana Del Rey, Prince William, Benazir Bhutto, and Chris Pratt.
