Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandsrecently received its first piece of DLC content in the form of “The Coiled Captors,” a new repeatable challenge that pits players against hordes of Coiled and, eventually, the god they imprisoned. Unfortunately, the game provides no guidance on how to begin the DLC, so players may find starting the DLC somewhat confusing, this guide will explain how to get the DLC started.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandsis a first-person looter shooter by Gearbox Software and 2K featuring a new Bunkers and Badasses Campaign from Tiny Tina, the world’s most dangerous 13-year-old. As the Fatemaker players are tasked with navigating Tina’s weird and wonderful world anddefeating the Dragon Lord, a villain of her own design.

Finding Dreamveil Overlook and Meeting Vesper

To begin the DLC, players will only need to have completed Snoring Valley and be able to reach the Overworld. Near the shrine of Mool-Ah, not far from the start of the game, is a new area called Dreamveil Overlook.

This mysterious and wonderous location appears to be a magical carnival of some kind, and players will soon be greeted by the mysterious “Vesper.” She beckons the Fatemaker to attune themselves with her “Wheel of Fate,” which is used in this DLC totrade souls from fallen enemies for loot. This provides the player with a small number of souls which can then be spent for a free piece of loot.

The Mirror

After trying out the Wheel of Fate, players should explore the area behind them a little to locate a floating mirror. Through the mirror, players can see the boss of this DLC, “Chum.” Interacting with the mirror will allow players to pass through it and enter the Coiled Captors DLC proper. On repeat visits, the difficulty can be raised in exchange for greater challenges and greater loot.

The Coiled Captors DLC, perhaps predictably, features many enemies of the Coiled enemy type. These enemies predominantly have red (flesh) health bars, with some elite enemies also having yellow (armor) or blue (ward) health bars too. As such, fire damage is quite effective here, with poison and lightning also proving useful. Crabs and Seawargs are also a common threat in the DLC, and predominantly have yellow and red health bars, respectively.

The Boss of the DLC “Chums” isresistant to the ice element but vulnerable to firedue to his red health bar.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandsis available now for Playstation 4, Playstation 5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
