While the story and the flow of gameplay are very linear, the ending ofValkyrie Elysiumis less so. While most of what determines the ending is based on whatValkyrie Elysiumplayers do in Chapter 9, the path to the true ending can only be accessed by collecting all nine of the Verdant Blossoms.
While they may look very similar to the Hollow Blossoms that can be found throughout the game, Verdant Blossoms are different because their messages can’t be read until all nine have been collected. So forplayers interested in seeing the true ending, here is where the Verdant Blossoms can be found.

Verdant Blossoms in Chapter 3
Verdant Blossoms only start appearing from Chapter 3 onward, so none of them can befound in the demo. They can be seen on the map as small fiery green dots.The first one is encountered near the first save point by the bridge.
It is in the middle of the bridge, so it is fairly easy to find. Picking it up triggers a brief cutscene, and then players will be able to move forward once it is done.The second Verdant Blossom is found roughly halfway through Chapter 3 after killing all the enemies in the chapel.
Before speaking to Armand in the side room,Valkyrie Elysiumplayers should turn around and go up the flight of stairs. After carefully navigating the limited floor space, players will want to check the rooms on the second floor.
In one room, there is a treasure chest, and in the other room, there is the Verdant Blossom. If players happen to miss a Verdant Blossom, they can replay that Chapter to get it. One important thing to know is that once they get the Verdant Blossom they missed, players must complete the Chapter again and not head back to Valhalla, or they will not get credit for getting it. Therank players get for completing a Chapterhas no effect on the Verdant Blossoms.
Verdant Blossoms in Chapter 4
The first Verdant Blossom can be found soon after starting the Chapter.From the second save point,Valkyrie Elysiumplayers should turn right and move down the stairs.On the deck overlooking the water will be the first Verdant Blossom.
Thesecond Verdant Blossom can be found in the castle near the end of the Chapter. The room is blocked off, so players will need tonavigate around it by using the stairs. This Verdant Blossom can only be seen on the map once players are on the same flooras it.
Verdant Blossom in Chapter 5
From this point forward, all Chapters have only one Verdant Blossom that can be found, and theywill not appear in Side Quests. TheVerdant Blossom is located near the end of Chapter 5 after beating the boss and recruiting Kristoffer.
Navigate up toward the end of the map and turn left into a small side area. The path on the left has a chest, and thepath on the right is where the Verdant Blossom can be found.Valkyrie Elysiumplayers willneed to use Kristofferto bypass the dark barrier blocking the way.
Verdant Blossom in Chapter 6
Unlike Chapter 5, the Verdant Blossom in Chapter 6 can be found soon after the mission begins. Near the start of Chapter 6 is a tower that players can’t enter. The first floor is blocked by iron bars, and the second floor is blocked by a locked door.
As players clear the flower blocking their way,they can go up the ledge, and on top of one of the buildings is a chest.In the chest, a key will allowValkyrie Elysiumplayers to unlock the door to the building where the Verdant Blossom is located.

Verdant Blossom in Chapter 7
While the Verdant Blossom in Chapter 6 can be found early on, it takes a little while to get as it is more than halfway through the mission.Valkyrie Elysiumplayers will know that they are on the right track once they enter the castle and see the icon for the Verdant Blossom on the map. Like with the second Verdant Blossom in Chapter 4, actually reaching the Verdant Blossom will require players to navigate going up and down floors so that they can get around a blocked door.
Valkyrie Elysiumplayers must enter the room above and jump down into the room below. On the side of the wall is a switch that will open the gate where the seventh Verdant Blossom is located.
Verdant Blossom in Chapter 8
There is a small puzzle that stands betweenValkyrie Elysiumplayers and the eighth Verdant Blossom, asit is on the other side of a large lake of poisonous water. Near the edge of the water, there is a series of crystals on ledges that players can press “L2” to zoom toward. Afterusing several of these crystals,players will find themselves on the other side of the lake where the Verdant Blossom is. They can also use the same crystals to get back after collecting the Verdant Blossom.
Verdant Blossom in Chapter 9
The ninth and final Verdant Blossom only spawns in Chapter 9 ifValkyrie Elysiumplayers have gathered the other eight blossoms. Since the map of Chapter 9 is pretty straightforward,finding the last Verdant Blossom is pretty easy since it is just in a small alcove.
At this time, players will be able to read all the messages from the Verdant Blossoms, and a cutscene will play after picking it up.
One important thing that players should know is that upon completing Chapter 9, regardless of whether they get the True Ending, the ninth Verdant Blossom resets upon beating the game. The reason for this is so that players do not get locked out of other endingsafter saving clear dataif they happen to get this ending first and want to see the other ones.
