New content has been added toVampire Survivorswith the 0.11.0 Patch. Among the most exciting additions is a new character with a new starting weapon and a new arcana. This new arcana, Divine Bloodline, is extremely powerful - powerful enough that a player can finally complete a no weapon challenge and kill multiple Deaths in the same run.

As with all new content inVampire Survivors, this arcana must be unlocked before it’s made available to the player. Unlocking Divine Bloodline isn’t too difficult, but it will take around thirty minutes. This guide will also offer some tips on getting the most out of this new arcana.

Unlocking Divine Bloodline

Unlocking this arcana is done by getting the Clerici to level 99 on a run. The player can pick any stage for this run; all that matters is that Clerici reaches level 99. A stage with a 30-minute timer should be chosen; this will give the player ample time to unlock Divine Bloodline.

Fortunately, Clericistarts with one of the best weaponsin the game, Santa Water. It’s possible to beat a stage using only the Santa Water with the Attractorb, Empty Tome, Spellbinder, Bracer, Wings, and Crown passive items. Players should use a build with which they feel the most confident - one they have used many times before to reach Death at the 30-minute mark.

Once Clerici reaches level 99, the player can exit the stage. Finishing the run isn’t necessary. The player should see a notification appear at the bottom of the results screen indicating Divine Bloodline has been unlocked.

Using Divine Bloodline

This arcana causes the character’s Armor score to affect the damage of some weapons. The affected weapons are; Garlic, Cross, Lightning Ring, King Bible, Santa Water, and Song of Mana. The evolved forms of these weapons are not affected by Divine Bloodline. With Divine Bloodline, the damage of these weapons is five times the character’s Armor score, to a maximum of 250. Divine Bloodline also causes all the character’s weapons to inflict more damage when the character’s health is low. This equates to +1 damage for every ten hit points below Max Health.

This arcana has a third ability as well; enemies take retaliatory damage when coming into physical contact with the player. This does ten points of damage per point of Armor, and enemies killed via this retaliatory damage raise the character’s Max Health by 0.5.Leda and Divano are both excellent charactersto use with Divine Bloodline as they start with a bonus to Armor. Peppino also starts with a small bonus to Armor. Characters like Cosmo that receive a bonus to Recovery are also great options touse with this arcana. The retaliatory damage from Divine Bloodline scales with the damage dealt to the player; when Death touches the player, it takes well over 100,000 points of damage.

Divano with almost 7000 Max Health in Vampire Survivors

If the player has a high Recovery score and the Crimson Shroud, it is possible to complete a stage with just this weapon. While the Laurel and Crimson Shroud are technically weapons, they are actually non-damaging defensive items. Players will want to spend the first ten minutes of a run taking damage from enemies as much as possible. This will give a huge boost to Max Health later in the run. If a player waits too long to do this, they might find their weapons and kill enemies before they can reach their character.
