This has allowed it to become one ofNintendo’s best selling consoles. A developer that has helped make games playable of the Switch is Virtuos Games, and it seems that the company has high hopes for ports of next-generation games as well.
The developer, Virtuos Games, has helped port games such asOuter Worlds,Dark Souls: Remastered, andBioShock: The Collection. The VP of Virtuos games, Elijah Freeman, was optimistic about the ability to port next-generation games and stated, “we believe that 2020 will be the year of game-centric development, where players will expect as standard a consistency of experience with their favorite games. With the launch of the new Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 this year, developers need to strategize and plan for the game experience to be consistent across all platforms.” Freeman then commented on the issue of the strategic plans for the company by saying, “At Virtuos we are charged up and full of talent that is ready to help bring these new games to the Nintendo Switch.” This will pleaseNintendo Switchfans, although it will be interesting to see how these plans are developed on.
