Netflix’sStranger Thingsis known for the Upside Down, the Demogorgon, and a group of youngsters battling strange monsters. But, what many seem to forget is that behind the dark series is a much lighter atmosphere on set, with the main actors striking funny poses and having a good laugh at jokes and their own mistakes. To remind fans of this, Netflix released an old blooper reel from the extremely popular series featuring David Harbour.

The 43-second clip was shared on the streaming giant’s official Twitter page, showing a scene where David Harbour’s character Jim Hopper is telling Mike Wheeler, portrayed by Finn Wolfhard, why he needs to rush home. And what Harbour seems to be stuck on is the word “grandma,” constantly breaking character and bursting into a laugh.

The scene, which appears in season three of the series, involves Hopper telling Wheeler that his mother needs him home and that it has something to do with his grandmother. Hopper is essentially trying to avoid Wheeler from sleeping over at their home. But, Harbour struggles with the line, trying multiple times and failing to repeat the word “grandma” without laughing and also making hisStranger Thingsco-stars, Wolfhard and Millie Bobby Brown, laugh as well. At one point, Brown even asks Harbour “what is wrong with” him, while wiping away tears of laughter.

TheStranger Thingsblooperwas first revealed as part of a longer reel released by Netflix back in 2019. The four-minute video reveals several slip-ups by the actors while shooting season three of the popular show. Netflix is known for releasing blooper reels for many of their popular series and movies, which result in some good laughs among their fans.

Theproduction of season four ofStranger Thingsis currently underway. The season was initially meant to release in April, however, the shooting was severely delayed due to the pandemic. With restrictions and new safety measures, the shoot is taking longer than usual, the cast has admitted in different interviews. The cast has also revealed thatStranger Thingsseason 4 will be the scariest one yet.No date has currently been announced for its release.

Season three of the series ended on a cliffhanger, with the fate of Hopper left uncertain. Fans were convinced that one of the main characters could not just be killed and believed he would somehow return. It has been confirmed that Harbour is indeed returning to play the character in the next season, but it remains to be seen at what capacity. So far, all that has been revealed is thatStranger Thingsseason 4will offer fans a “big revelation” about Hopper’s backstory.
