Xbox Game Pass New Game for February 2024: Final Fantasy 7
Currently available on Xbox via its 2019 re-release, it would be amazing to see the originalFinal Fantasy 7on Xbox Game Passthis coming month. While Xbox may not be gettingFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirthon launch, and it may not even haveFinal Fantasy 7 Remakeyet four years after its initial release, it would still be great to see Xbox join in on theFinal Fantasy 7celebrations, and the best way to do that is by adding the original title to Xbox Game Pass.

After January’s Xbox Game Pass line-up sawResident Evil 2 Remakecome to the service, andFebruary’s Game Pass line-up addedResident Evil 3 Remake, the natural next step is for Xbox Game Pass to addResident Evil 4 Remakein March. While this might seem like a bit of a long shot at first, it’s important to note thatDead Space Remakecame to Xbox Game Pass back in October 2023, just nine months after its original release, andResident Evil 4 Remakeis turning one at the end of next month.

One of the biggest surprises and highlights of the most recent Nintendo Direct wasStar Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection, an Aspyr-developed next-gen port of two of the most belovedStar Warsvideo games of all time. Offering the complete package,Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collectionbundles together not only the two originalBattlefronttitles, but also all of their bonus content, includingBattlefront 2’s bonus maps and playable characters, all of which were previously only available on the original Xbox via Xbox Live DLC. WithStar Wars: Battlefront Classic Collectionreleasing on March 14 for all modern platforms, it’s unlikely that it’ll come to Xbox Game Pass, but it would be a great boon for the service if it did.
A game that’s always at the top ofXbox Game Pass wish lists, it would be great to seeRed Dead Redemption 2come back to the subscription service this coming month. It’s been almost four years sinceRed Dead Redemption 2was last on Xbox Game Pass, and it’s about time it returned. And with Rockstar currently the talk of the town thanks to theGTA 6trailer, there’s never been a better time forRed Dead 2to come to Game Pass.
