PopularYouTubestreamer Valkyrae has become one of the platform’s most-watched female streamers through years of content creation, maintaining a dedicated schedule since moving from Twitch to YouTube. This content roll that Valkyrae has been on through regular streams andYouTubevideos is coming to a temporary end as the YouTuber has confirmed that she will be taking a “very long” break.
Offline TV is a group of friends that creates content together, and it includes fellow streamers likeDisguised Toast, Pokimane, LilyPichu, Michael Reeves, and Scarra. Offline TV recently said that several members will be going on a week-long trip to Japan soon, and although she isn’t a member of Offline TV, Dexerto spotted that Valkyrae was invited to join. While this trip to Japan will take Valkyrae away from her YouTube channel for a week, the content creator has stated that the break will extend beyond the conclusion of the Japan trip.

During a video posted yesterday, Valkyrae confirmed that Offline TV invited her to join the Japan trip shortly after theirValoranttournament victorybut stated that she will be going somewhere else beyond Japan. Valkyrae neglected to inform her YouTube audience where her destination after Japan is but stated that she will announce where she is and who she’ll be with whenever possible, but it doesn’t stop there. Upon returning home from this international trip, Valkyrae won’t be back to streaming just yet as she said that she will be going to New York and will vlog a lot of the travels while she’s gone.
Valkyrae waited until Scarra from Offline TV made the Japan trip announcement to let her audience know that she is joining the team so as not to step on any toes, and she received permission to talk about it from OTV. AlthoughValkyrae’s YouTubevideo was transparent with her audience about the upcoming break, it’s currently unclear when she’ll return to her regular schedule as the duration of the trip after Japan has yet to be clarified. Valkyrae’s YouTube viewers are already aware of Offline TV given her dealings with the content creator collective over the years, while some Offline TV viewers may see more of her through their travels.
Though some Valkyrae fans are lamenting her departure from regularYouTube streams, many others are excited with anticipation of the Japan trip and potential content that may come of it. Given how long she’s maintained growth on YouTube, some Valkyrae fans also stated that she’s due for a vacation and noted that the OTV crew seems like a family that Valkyrae is already a part of. While she didn’t state where she’s going after Japan, some Valkyrae fans have speculated that she will be visiting family in the Philippines, but they will know for sure when Valkyrae confirms the location in a YouTube announcement.
