A cleverZeldafan manages to create a vehicle that runs on frozen meat inThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The Ultrahand ability allows players to build and pilot peculiar contraptions and vehicles by attaching objects together inThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of Kingdom, and Zonai devices may be used to power these new creations.
Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomplayers may begin attaching objects and building vehicles of their own after obtaining the Ultrahand ability fromone of the Great Sky Island shrines. Rauru will give Link suggestions about what to build, but potential ideas are mostly left up to the player’s discretion as they explore the island and learn the game’s mechanics. Additionally, many Sky Island locations inZelda: Tears of the Kingdommay give direct clues about how the player could reach another area in the distance.

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomplayer Superruub61 recently built a strange vehicle that runs on frozen meat, which may be easily obtained by striking raw meat with ice elemental weapons. This particular vehicle was made by attaching four handrails together to form a triangular frame, and frozen meat was attached to the bottom of the frame. Superruub61’s vehicle can’t be piloted due to its lack ofZonai wheels and a steering stick, but the player is able to start the vehicle by hitting the frame in any direction. The force from Link’s strike causes the vehicle to skid across land since the frozen meat acts similarly to ice skates.
Rapid strikes from a spear appear to help boost momentum while Link is inside the frozen meat vehicle, and Superrubb61 steers the vehicle by hitting one of the frame’s handrails in the desired direction. The vehicle may also float in water as shown near the end of the Superrubb61’s recorded clip, but the vehicle becomes immobile in water without the use of Zonai fans or rockets.
Although the frozen meat vehicle may be unwieldy to some players, Superruub61’s creation highlights one of many possible ideas that could be implemented with theZelda: Tears of the Kingdom’sUltrahand ability. In addition, players may make their own adjustments and improve upon the idea by using Zonai devices. For example, Zonai rockets and wheels could allow the vehicle to traverse land much faster, and the use of a Zonai steering stick and set of wheels lets a player take direct control of the vehicle.
Build ideas are seemingly endless inZelda: Tears of the Kingdomas players continue to explore Hyrule and discover attachable objects. NewZelda: Tears of the KingdomDLCcould potentially provide new Autobuild schematics and attachable objects, but Nintendo has yet to officially announce new DLC for the highly successful title.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomis available now for Nintendo Switch.
